Somewhere in the rural countryside of Latvia, in a town called Zalenieki, united more than 80 photographers to immerse themselves into photography. Tanya Habjouqa is a master in encouraging everyone to elevate and grow to a higher level. We had a diverse group: different nationalities, personalities and photographic styles but Tanya was a true mentor: tough but caring. And it was so much fun listening to her inspirational lectures: highly energetic and humorous.
The woods and the castle were the perfect spot to meet other creatives, discuss ethics and other challenges. By the end of the week we created a performative exhibition to show our works to each other and other visitors from the village. It was so much worth it!
