Sanne is available for presentations, mentoring and workshops. Lectures often focus on her documentary projects, but can also focus on how to sustain in the international photo-industry and the entrepreneurial aspects of being a freelance photographer. She also provides one-to-one mentoring to documentary photographers who want to develop their projects. Themes can include grant-writing, pitching and editing, and are tailored to the needs of the mentee.

With a background in teaching, she loves to present and share her knowledge and experiences. She has given guest lectures on photography at the Universidad Autónoma Barcelona, Radboud University Nijmegen, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Spotlight Deventer, Open Eyes, HAN University of Applied Sciences.
 
In the past she has worked for five years as a lecturer in Applied Psychology at Fontys Hogescholen in Eindhoven. Before, during her Ph.D. trajectory, she has given lectures and presentations worldwide, at universities and conferences in San Francisco, Davis California, Madrid, Sevilla, Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Cochabamba, Bogóta, Canterbury and Lecce.
