While landing in Barcelona I got the unexpected but very much well received message that I was -last-minute- accepted for the advanced workshop ‘Storytelling as a tool for social change’ led by the incredible Tanya Habjouqa, one of world’s best female storytellers. Only 12 places for this workshop and I am among the lucky ones to attend the 9 days (!) workshop in Latvia. Super excited, also because Tanya came to photography through anthropology -just like me! Looking forward to discuss how to implement anthropology more profoundly in my photo-projects. In addition, the International Summer School of Photography is a great event where photographers from all over the world come together to create, share and network, as there are 6 workshops taking place, with 12 participants each, ánd invites are present for classes and portfolio reviews. It is going to be soooo exciting!
