Under the Wings of Unesco published at Immaterieel Erfgoed

When I was in Mexico to co-supervise a course on Methodology for the Radboud University Nijmegen in April and May, I extended my stay to photograph. Not only was I interested in Santa Muerte, also the ritual of the ‘Voladores’ or Ritual Flyers had my attention. Therefore I went twice to Cuetzalan to find out what meaning the proclamation of being Intangible Patrimony by Unesco meant to the community. It was a nice photoreport, published in the Magazine Immaterieel Erfgoed -Intangible Heritage- in the Netherlands.
