While in Cholula, I managed to collect material for several stories. For instance, I followed a worker in a piñata factory; I was invited to the Red Triangle, a notorious area in Central Mexico to learn about the illegal stealing and selling of gasoline by the huachicoleros (narco-network of gasoline thieves). Furthermore, the theme of migration kicked in. What deeply touched me, was the visit to La Sagrada Familia in Apizaco, where transnational migrants (mostly from Honduras) were attended on their way to the USA. Exposed to so much violence, these guys seemed to have such a positive outlook on life! Another interesting topic I was chasing, were the stories of Mexican re-migrants that came back from the USA. I interviewed and portrayed them. It were again such a valuable experiences.
